By using materials that have already lived, at least one life, we are telling a story and
celebrating the imperfect.
Gardens are designed to age and grow gracefully; unlike a newly painted house, the day that a garden is finished, is only the starting point. It is designed to mature and get better with time,
not deteriorate.
